When the Blood Covers Your Tears Brian Lothery Standing in the church, communion cup in hand Partaking in the sacrifice of God’s Lamb The Spirit of the Lord breathes upon us all Weeping in my worship, my tears begin to fall Falling into my cup I see a solitary tear My thoughts, “Lord, I’ve ruined it” Then it quickly disappears… When the blood covers your tears it can wash the pain away If we let Him, He will guide us to a brand new day {Then} We can face our horizons no longer bound by fear When we allow the Blood of Jesus to wash away our tears When we allow the Blood of Jesus to wash away our tears [Looking at my life]{Standing in my life}, the pieces at my feet I had strayed so far from God’s mercy seat The Spirit breathes upon me. I hear the {Father’s}[Father] call Weeping in repentance my tears [begin to] fall My whole world has been shaken. How can I face my fears? The Father whispers “Child. My Blood has covered up your tears.”

God Sees the Heart Brian Lothery A homeless man on the street so many pass him by A child with nothing to eat will we ignore his despairing cry? They don't fit in to a world blind to the heart, But one day we're going to a city where none are set apart, God sees the heart. God sees the soul, He takes a broken vessel and He makes it whole. He looks beyond our race, beyond the color of our skin, He looks beyond our imperfections, God sees within A crippled man asked his neighbors, "tell me what do you see?" If all you see is a lame man, then you really don’t see me." There are people all around Looking for someone to love them today, When we go to Jesus, Thank God that none are turned away. God sees the heart. God sees the soul, He takes a broken vessel and He makes it whole. He looks beyond our race, beyond the color of our skin, He looks beyond our imperfections, God sees within
